Emma Weiss Holyst

Emma Weiss Holyst is a costume artist based in Chapel Hill North Carolina. They have an MFA in Costume Production from UNC Chapel Hill where they spent 3 years draping and building costumes for Playmakers Repertory Company. Currently, Emma is teaching sewing classes at Durham Arts Council and Emerson Waldorf High School.

 

They have worked with the  Utah Shakespeare Festival, Bard’s Summerscape Festival, Delaware Theater Company, Resident Ensemble Players at University of Delaware, and Swarthmore College. They also worked as a wardrobe supervisor on Norwegian Cruise Lines and stitched for Lynne Mackey Studios in New York City.
